Thank you for considering to interview me, Matt Haas. Here are some resources that may be helpful in your efforts marketing the show/podcast where Matt will appear. Feel free to copy/paste/download as much or as little as you want/need.

What Matt needs/expects from YOU

  1. Videos shows must appear with a minimum resolution of 1080.
  2. Although it may be obvious, still provide Matt the name of your show/podcast and provide links to your show’s social media sites.
  3. Provide Matt with the run-of-show (aka: show flow)
  4. Did you prepare questions in advance? If so, share them with Matt.
  5. You must have a way to confirm the audio from Matt is at the same level as the host/co-hosts. Having Matt’s audio be louder or quieter than others is unacceptable.
  6. Provide names and brief details regarding the roles of everyone Matt will interact with both on-screen and behind the scenes. For example, if there will be a producer helping run the show, also provide those details to Matt.
  7. If the interview will be a video live stream, provide Matt the show URL when it becomes available. Ideally, the show page will be public at least one week prior to the start date.
  8. Matt may want to tweak the text in the video’s description or the podcast’s show notes. Share these details with Matt and quickly make any requested revisions.
  9. No LinkedIn! Matt is keeping his LinkedIn profile related to Business Analysis. Keep content that contains images/videos of Matt off of LinkedIn and definitely do NOT tag Matt on the LinkedIn platform.

Biography (Long)

Matt Haas is a business analyst, web developer, woodworker, and YouTuber that strives to remove mediocrity from all areas of his life.

He started his carrier rendering textbook illustrations and was quickly promoted to supervisor, then manager. He helped the small business where he worked (35+ employees) stay debt-free for 10+ years. Matt taught himself web development to automate non-creative management tasks. Over a fifteen-year period, Matt created 107+ websites for small businesses and one site for a large business that needed a hand-coded mission-critical manufacturing plant management site.

Some of the items above were not as creative as Matt would have liked… so, he started making physical items in his woodshop and quickly became obsessed with the woodworking craft and capturing videos of his creations for his YouTube channel.
